Last week, Uganda was hit by the news of the retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo having died.
The retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo died on Friday (5th January 2018) at Kampala Hospital where he had been admitted after battling cancer and pneumonia.
Celebrated musician turned politican Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine came out and mourned the fallen man of God with words of praise as below.
As Nelson Mandela said, “When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. I believe I have made that effort and that is, therefore, why I will sleep for the eternity.” Indeed Rtd Archbishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo served his country with dignity and grace. As we celebrate his life we learn that leadership is a service to humanity and when God gives you the chance to serve His people, you must do it with selflessness and humility. RIP kitaffe mu katonda
