Gyptian is set to grace the first ever Entebbe Reggae festival as he recently confirmed his performance in the country via his instagram page (Real Gyptian)
Windel Beneto Edwards commonly known as Gyptian is a Jamaican reggae singer who sings genres like roots reggae,reggae and dancehall. He is popularly known in Uganda for songs like Hold Yuh, Stunta, Wine Slow,Nah Let Go, All On Me among others.
Speaking to representative of the organising committee,he said this is first edition of the Entebbe Reggae festival and it will happen every year but this year’s editions is on 26th December with Gyptian headlining the show.
Entebbe Reggae festival will have Ugandan acts like Sheebah Karungi, Radio and Weasel among others at Peniel Beach, Entebbe. Entrance to the venue going for 5000 kids, 20,000 ordinary, 50,000 VIP and table for 2 Million.
There will be Children’s playground,art and craft, carribean food and face painting.
