Euro-Uganda Film Festival 2018, currently in its fourth annual edition is set to takeplace from 10th – 20th June at the National theatre, Design Hub,Kamwokya Playground, Jazzville Bugolobi, BTC and Alliance Francaise on different days.
This year’s festival will run under the theme “Celebrating and showcasing European Cultural Heritage Through Film” and will feature programmes like film screenings (both in the cinema and communities across Kampala) panel discussions, key note speeches and cocktail parties.
Over 10 Ugandan films like Jinxed, Chebet, The Dummy Team, A Good Catholic Girl have been selected to screen as well as others from Denmark,Germany, UK, Italy,France, Poland among others.
This year’s festival is organised by British Council and seeks to celebrate culture and diversity through film. Alliance Française Kampala UK in UgandaEuropean Union in Uganda Embassy of Belgium in Uganda Embassy of Denmark in Uganda Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kampala Embassy of Sweden in Kampala.
