DeiPlaces, a new social media platform has officially launched in Uganda.
DeiPlaces under its parent company Dei Technologies is a social media platform whose aim is to promote tourism in Africa particularly Uganda as some tourism potential have not been fully exploited or utilized.
DeiPlaces emphasis is around individuals, organizations while they share information, stories and their experiences about places through pictures, videos and words (blogs and more).
Speaking at the press launch, Moses Matovu, the Product Manager said, although Dei Places will perform all the functions other social media platforms play, its major focus will be on helping people share information about different places in their own way.
“This platform is here to help people market places. There are over a billion places across the globe worth visiting but people do not know about them. Dei Places is now here to help people market such places to the world,”
Mathias Magoola, the Chairman Dei Group International urged the public to embrace and use the platform as it one of the best ways to promote Uganda in turn market your business to potential clients, create connections and more.
Dei Places was developed by a team of dedicated developers from America, China and Uganda.
